The "Hawk" house sits on the edge of the pristine Chiriquí Viejo river and within sight of Panama's highest peak; The 11,400 foot Baru Volcano. This is one of 5 homes that were part of the gated community of "LAS PLUMAS HOLIDAY HOMES." These homes are separately titled with their own private entrance.
The lot size: 1989.26 square meters.
Tax exoneration: until 16 of October 2024
The size of the home is 212.48 square meters
The Hawk house has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a utility room, large spacious living and kitchen area, covered car port and a covered patio with westward views over the Chiriquí Viejo river.
The home has been constructed to exacting North American standards. There is an obvious attention to detail throughout.
This is the private drive leading to the main road. As you can see your privacy and security is guaranteed by these high cedar hedges.
This covered and tiled patio has professional grade security gates. (In ALL Latin American countries, bars on doors and windows are customary) Additional security is gained from the fact that the home lies within a former gated community. Your North Western border is a river, and your immediate neighbours are other high-end homes within the former complex.
Paso Ancho is a small community close to the city of Volcan. It enjoys a year round "Eternal spring" climate. Night time lows are around 62F and daytime highs rarely exceed 80F.
This is the living-dining area. As an added bonus all furniture and appliances come with the home. Literally, all you need to bring is your suitcase, tooth brush. A fifteen minute drive will bring you to Volcan which has 10 supermarkets, 3 banks with ATM machines and dozens of restaurants.
The Hawk house is wide and spacious and as we have already mentioned this is the land of eternal spring which means you have no need for air-conditioning or heating. (Just imagine the savings this will bring.)
The stools to the right mean you can have breakfast and look out over the river and enjoy the true wonder of Panama's hundreds of multi-coloured tropical birds - yes Panama is a bird watchers heaven.
The kitchen comes with a refrigerator, a four burner stove, oven, microwave and yes even a coffee maker.
This view across the living room shows to the top left the guest bathroom, then the main bathroom and the three other bedrooms.
Local hardwood is used through this home on all the doors, closets and bedframes.
The garden has been carefully landscaped and every bedroom window will delight its occupants with awe inspiring morning and evening views.
Again hardwood cabinets are used throughout the bathrooms.
