Panama just gets better. Recently David & Lydia Dell and their 15 year old schnauzer spent a very enjoyable time at the Hooked on Panama fishing resort just south of Puerto Armuelles. Dan Peavy and his partners have done a remarkable job of transporting the charm and beauty of Hawaii to the shores of Panama. (Dan and his wife spent many years running a resort there). Hooked on Panama offers fishing charters for the die hard angling enthusiasts, but for the less adventurous you can relax by their swimming pool or stroll on the palm fringed beach. At the beginning of August, International Living held their most successful conference ever in Panama. With 280 attendees mostly from the US and Canada it shows that Panama is slowly being recognised for the great retirement destination that we have always believed it to be.
