Perhaps after a hard days exploring of the local countryside you may wish to relax in the indoor heated pool. The water here is heated from either a passive solar system or a conventional gas heater- either way the water will always be at a perfectly acceptable temperature.

THE VIEWS.

Imagine sitting on one of the south facing balconys as the early morning sun rises over the glistening Pacific Ocean. With coffee cup in hand you take in the 180 panoramic view. The distant lights of the city of David fade under the warming glow of the rising sun. Humming birds dart beneath you from one tropical plant to another. Below you the ground slopes way down to verdant tropical pastures. On the distant horizon you see the puffy white clouds rising from the warm waters of the bay of Chiriqui. To your right are the nearby hills of Costa Rica. A short walk takes you to a brow of a hill and the land falls away to a breathtaking vista of a deep valley. In the distance, to your left, is the Burica Pennisular and the bay of Chiriquí.

THE GARDENS.

The house sits on 2 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens. The variety and abundance of flowers, fruits and foliage will amaze you. From towering palm trees to vivid coloured plants-there is a feast for the eyes whichever way you turn. If you are a bird watcher -then you are in for a real treat - Panama’s birds will enthrall you with their bright, almost iridescent colours.

THE ROOMS.

The rooms are tastefully decorated with many natural wood accents and bookcases. Each room has its own ensuite bathroom- 1 room has the added luxury of a jacuzzi style tub. The rooms are on two floors and each have their own balcony so your friends or guests can always enjoy seclusion or privacy.

Self-contained suite with kitchen.

On the lower balcony there is a complete self-contained suite with its own kitchen. Ideal for the guest who wants complete privacy.

Dining room and kitchen.

Can easily accommodate up to 8 persons. There is a large refrigerator, dishwasher and double sink. The stove is a large commercial, 5-burner model with a large oven.

As you leave the dining room there is an additional small, west facing patio with steps down to the pool. On the ground floor is the utility room with a washer and dryer.

SHOPPING & SERVICES:

A fifteen minute drive either up or down the mountain road will bring you many modern supermarkets, gas stations and banks. Up the mountain is Volcan, with an unbelievable 8 supermarkets, 3 banks and 3 gas stations and a brand new, 32 bed, emergency hospital. Down the hill is the small town of Concepcion (Bugaba) In addition to several modern supermarkets and gas stations it has two large hardware stores.

Forty five minutes drive away is the Panama’s third largest city; David. David has an international airport, that soon will have direct flights to the United States.

The Pacific ocean beaches are a further 20 minutes south of David.
